Mr.Aftab-ul-Islam was the President of American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh, AmCham for few terms. He was the Chairperson of state-owned SME Foundation (Small and Medium Enterprise Foundation). Apart from this, Mr. Aftab-ul-Islam is a Director of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), Board Member, Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd. (CSE), Executive Board Member International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)-Bangladesh, Country Director, South Asian Regional Energy Coalition (SAREC) and a Member of Board of Governors, Institute of Business Administration (IBA) of Dhaka University. Previously Mr. Aftab-ul-Islam held numerous core positions of different business associations. He served as President, Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), the leading computer association of Bangladesh, President, The Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), country's largest trade promotion organisation in 2000.

Mr M Shamsur Rahman is a partner of Impact PR. He launched Impact PR in 2005. Prior to the launching of the agency, Shams worked as an account manager in one of the leading PR firms, Percept Profile, in Dubai. Before entering the PR industry, Shams served as the business editor of The Daily Star and earned the reputation of being the best business editor in Bangladesh. He also played a key role in launching the Daily Star and DHL Worldwide Express Business Awards. Working in Dubai, he realised Bangladesh does not have a PR industry even though there are huge potential. He came back to Bangladesh, tied up with Mr. Aftab and launched Impact PR. He headed the company for over five years and now he has gone back to journalism. Currently he is working as the Managing Editor and acting CEO of Independent Television.

Sabrina Zaman, Chief Executive
Majored in marketing communications from Middlesex University, London, Sabrina Zaman, started working for Impact PR as the Account Director in February 2007. British born Ms. Zaman has vast experiences in travel and tour business both in Bangladesh and UK. Prior to her studies abroad she did her masters in International Relations from the University of Dhaka. She became the Chief Executive of the company on December 1, 2010. She is the official trainer for PR and media relations training, the agency offers to its corporate clients.
Mahbub-E-Waduzzaman, Head of Account
A journalism graduate and an MBA in Accounting, Mahbub has a proven track record in Public Relations, Journalism and Event Management. Mahbub worked with Adcomm, the country’s one of the leading advertising agencies, with the special assignment of doing PR task for Tata Group and Nokia Corporation. After completing post-graduation in Mass Communication and Journalism at the University of Dhaka, he started his journalism career as an intern with the largest circulated vernacular daily – The Daily Prothom Alo. He later worked briefly for the Daily Ittefaq and The Daily Star before joining Adcomm. Mahbub joined Impact PR in 2006. He is currently handling Mahindra Comviva, Beximco Group, and other clients along with his team of the agency.
Tareq Mortaza, Sr. Consultant
After completing his Honours and Masters in Political Science from the University of Dhaka, Tareq started his journalism career with the country’s leading Bangla daily Prothom Alo as a city correspondent. He switched to the country’s first Bangla tabloid daily Manabzamin as a university correspondent. Tareq is now working with another leading English daily, The Independent as a senior reporter with special concentration on telecom & ICT sector, Chittagong Hill Tracts, micro credit, tourism, art & culture. Before joining The Independent Tareq worked with daily Naya Diganta as a senior reporter. Tareq has proven track record in tour operation and event management as he served Dhaka University Tourist Society as president for four years. He is also with Tourist Plus as a chief executive, a tour operator in Bangladesh speciallizing in local travel packages. Tareq took part in a two-year long special training programme of AED & USAID on investigative journalism. He joined Impact PR as a senior consultant in June 2011 with a special assignment to handle Robi Axiata Ltd, e.co and bikroy.com. He won The Dhaka Reporters Unity Award in Telecom category in 2015.
Thuhidul Islam, Account Manager
Thuhidul Islam is working as an Account Manager in impact PR. He completed his graduation in Mass Communication & Journalism from Dhaka University and MBA from a private University. He is in charge of Beximco, Lafarge Surma Cement and Chittagong Stock Exchange account at present. He is involved in media relation & client relation. He has vast experience working with the local journalists in different region of the country including Rangpur, Dinajpur, Bogra, Jessore, Narail, Chuandanga, Sylhet and Chittagong. Thuhid also worked as a public relations officer in Bangladesh Chamber of Industries (BCI) for a brief period. He conducted various research related to Bangladeshi industry while he was in BCI. He joined Impact PR in 2007. Thuhidul is also involved with Impact's assignment in Katalyst.
Rukhsana Mily, Account Manager
Rukhsana completed her master’s in Mass Communication and Journalism from University of Dhaka, country’s top academic echelon on the discipline. She stepped into Public Relations career joining at the Impact PR in November 2009. Later she took the leadership of Public Relations Officer at Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) in December 2012 and after successful completion of her tenure, she again joined at Impact PR in April 2014. Currently she is looking after the client, Oracle Corporation as Account Manager. She also develops multiple types of media contents for British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB). She stands out in communication with journalists of different beats including IT, telecom, businesses and real estates. She is also working as a journalist for the monthly real estate magazine KARIKA. Prior to having the portfolio, Rukhsana contributed numerous reports for country’s top-notch newspaper Daily Prothom Alo since 2005. She also worked for Management and Resources Development Initiative (MRDI) as Associate for Media Monitoring Unit during 2005 to 2007. Apart from these, she led the Research Team for award winning documentary ‘Stories of Changes’, produced by BRAC Development Initiative in association with Beginning Production.
Mohammed Shahin, Coordinator
Mohammed Shahin is the Regional Co-coordinator of Impact PR with the responsibility to maintain media relations with regional journalists as well as to managing all the clients’ event management activities. A graduate from Dhaka College, Shahin has been working for Impact PR since its inception. Prior to joining Impact, he worked for Coastal Sea Food Ltd and Fyne Way Water and Beverage Co. Ltd as liaison officer. Shahin works with British American Tobacco and Katalyst project.
Bidhan Chandra Saha, Assistant Account Manager
Bidhan Chandra Saha is working as an Assistant Account Manager in Impact PR. He joined Impact PR on 1st February, 2013. He has completed his graduation & Master’s degree from University of Dhaka in Mass Communication and Journalism. After completing the study he joined in University of Development Alternative (UODA) as Lecturer and then worked in bdnews24.com as Sub-Editor. Later he was inducted in Impact PR account management team. He actively worked with Impact PR team for Robi and played very important role in the team. He is a very dedicated team member and delivers all the requirements of Robi on time.
Subarna Mostafa, Sr. Account Executive
Subarna Mostafa is working as a Senior Account Executive of Impact PR. She joined Impact PR on 1st October, 2013. She has completed her graduation & Master’s degree from Mass Communication and Journalism Dept of University of Dhaka, After completing the graduation she joined International Television Channel- NTV as a Reporter. After her Masters she worked as a Communication Analyst in a research organization named JPRSW. Later she was inducted in Impact’s account management team. She looks after Bikroy.com account along with her team. She keep track on coverage of Birkory competitors, prepare analysis and gather media intelligence to assist the account manager for developing PR strategy for Bikroy.com. She is also looking after the BPL team, Dhaka Dynamites of behalf of Beximco group.
Farah Tanjee, Account Executive
Farah Tanjee is working as an Account Executive of Impact PR since 3rd August, 2014. She completed her Graduation & Master’s Degree from Department of Mass Communication & Journalism of University of Dhaka. She worked with Radio Foorti as an Outdoor Broadcaster. Then she joined Daily Samakal as a contributor in Nandan- entertainment based weekly supplement. Then she joined Television News Agency (TVNA) as a Reporter. After leaving TVNA she joined Radio Today FM 89.6 as a Staff Reporter. After that she joined Somoy TV as a Reporter & Presenter of Business Show ‘E SomoyerBanijjyo’. From Somoy she moved to Channel 24 as a Newsroom Editor & Presenter of ‘Business 24’. She also worked on some projects with UNDP. Later she was inducted in Impact’s account management team. She is assigned to keep track on coverage of British American Tobacco and competitors, prepare analysis and gather media intelligence to assist the Senior Consultant to develop PR strategy for BATB. She also works for edotco Bangladesh Ltd and other influential clients.
Md Rajibul Hasan, Account Executive
Md. Rajibul Hasan is working as a PR Executive of Impact PR. He joined Impact PR in February 2015. Rajib completed his post-graduation and graduation from Mass Communication & Journalism of Dhaka University. Earlier, Rajib worked as senior researcher at SEHD (Society for Environment and Human Development) and Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB) as a sub-editor. He also worked with Bangladesh Film Archive (BFA) as research fellow and BNNRC (Bangladesh NGO’s Network for Radio Communication), as a research assistant, which conducts research on media. He also worked with Dhaka Courier, a weekly news magazine, Bangladesh Betar, and Saptahik 2000. He has a research publication published by Bangladesh Film Archive (BFA) titled “The Role of BFDC in Bangladesh Film Industry”. He is also involved with writings in different journals. Rajib actively working with BATB team. He also assists other clients’ activities.
Mohammad Shakhawat, PR Executive
Mohammad Shakhawat Ullah is working as a PR Executive of Impact PR since December 2014. He graduated with Sociology as the major from the National University of Bangladesh. Shakhawat developed his career as a PR Executive with versatile experience. Earlier, he was a PR Executive at Delta Bay Production and Distribution where he successfully accomplished the public relation program of highly esteemed reality shows like KeHote Chai Kotipoti, Bangladeshi Idol, and Forgotten Roots etc. Shakhawat also worked as a contributor of the Daily Prothom Alo and as a Research Assistant with the City University of Hong Kong.
Humayun Masud, Account Executive, Chittagong
Masud is working as Account Executive and seats in Chittagong office. He is in charge of Western Marine Shipyard Limited account. He has a very good media relation in Chittagong. He also worked as University Correspondent for Dainik Khobor, DainikSangu and news agency ABASH. He also worked in Suprobhat Bangladesh one of the renowned local daily of Chittagong. He is very good in communication and writing. Recently he has joined Janakantha as a staff reporter alongside being an employee of Impact PR.
Anwar Hossain Rony, Representative of Sylhet region
Rony joined Impact PR as a representative of Sylhet, Sunamganj, Chhatak & Molovibazar, in January 2013. He has more than two decades of experience in journalism. After completing his undergraduate he stared his journalism career with one of the oldest national Bangla daily, Banglabazaar as Chhatak correspondent. He worked 7 years in Banglabazaar. For the last 12 years he is working with the daily Jugantor. Rony is also working as a special correspondent of the leading local daily of Punno Bhumi from the very inception of the daily. Rony is very influential among the local journalists community. He has been successfully managing Impact PR’s different clients regular PR, CSR & Crisis communication related job in Sylhet region.
Melon Mahmud, Representative of Kushtia Region
Melon joined Impact PR as a representative of Kustia in July 2015. He is the district correspondent of Independent Television for last four years. He has around six years of experience in local journalism. He started his career with a local daily of Kustia called `MatirPrithibi’. He also worked with one of the best local daily `Kustiar Kagoj’. Melon is very influential among the local journalists community. He handles local media crisis as well as any media related need of Impact PR. He has been successfully managing Impact PR’s different clients’ event in Kushtia region.
